Stayed in a newly renovated room which was really good. Very bright and open. Great workspace too. The pool area is very impressive, not huge but looks great. I really enjoyed the restaurant and bar downstairs, great spot to have a few beers after each day. Usually don’t like casinos but the actual casino area is very separate so it doesn’t feel like a casino which is good. The staff was all great, no problems at all with my stay.

Amazing stay at Rambutan. We arrive there very early, the hotel is happy to accommodate and welcome us. The staff is great and the food and cocktails are delicious. e had a couple of nights in Townsville and this hotel was a good location to easily walk around the sites of the city.
We arrived early to check in, rooms were not ready but were happy to store our luggage while we went out for lunch. The staff was very pleasant at check-in – but as seems the norm questions asked about if it was our first time in Townsville (and it was) and if we needed directions, information, etc.
Rooms are clean & tidy, with sufficient toiletries, a view from the tiny balcony over a side street. The lounge chair is very low to the ground and very uncomfortable. Bed is very comfortable. Wifi very fast.
