Stayed in a newly renovated room which was really good. Very bright and open. Great workspace too. The pool area is very impressive, not huge but looks great. I really enjoyed the restaurant and bar downstairs, great spot to have a few beers after each day. Usually don’t like casinos but the actual casino area is very separate so it doesn’t feel like a casino which is good. The staff were all great, no problems at all with my stay.
This will now be my main hotel for my trips to Townsville.

This pub is amazing! If you put the locally-made beer aside, the food and service are enough to sell this place. I highly recommend the crumbed steak and Legends beer!

What a nice place for special parties or meetings. Certainly with a lot of space to accommodate a decent amount of people. The petting farm is so much loved by the kids as well as the train and vintage trucks. The view at night must be just astonishing.

When we first arrived at the Mercure we were greeted by your amazing team. Jimmy looked after us and offered to take our bags and hold them until our room was ready, Check-in was 2 pm but I got a call at 10 am to say we can check in early! How nice.
The bungalow was perfect and extremely clean, well presented and the aircon was on when we walked in. It’s the small touches that make all the difference.
We had the breakfast included in our stay and we also ate dinner in the restaurant a few times. The food was great each time. The pool was clean all the amenities were clean and just a perfect stay.
I really can’t fault the team, they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was wonderful, we will be back.
