Me and my partner have been to nearly every fish and chip shop in town and we’re both very particular about our fish and chips. We just got a dinner for 2 which was in our opinion the BEST fish and chips we have had in a long time. The chips were cooked perfectly crispy, not too oily & same with the fish!! It was fresh and flaky! We loved the gravy especially because it was nice and thick (hate runny gravy). Prawn cutlets & calamari were the stars of the show you could taste the freshness and definitely not stingy sizes!!! Perfect seasoning of chicken salt as well. Absolutely spot on! Will be coming back for more very soon.

Stumbled across this little gem whilst looking for a takeaway place. All I wanted was some fish and chips. It didn’t look busy but sitting there waiting was an eye-opener. And I must say the best fish I have had since moving to North Queensland 6 years ago. They need to show everyone else how to cook fish. I got The steak lot burger and was pretty hungry so decided to also get a piece of the red emperor with some chips which I’m glad I did. The burger had a nice decent piece of steak in it and everything else on the the burger salad was crisp and fresh and was put together and tasted delicious one of the best I’ve had In a while. The Fish was absolutely beautiful cooked to perfection and just moist and juicy…I will be getting this from now on and the chips are so good we could not stop eating them.
